The New Art Center offers classes for children, teens and adults in painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed media, calligraphy, cartooning, photography and much more. The New Art Center supports the development of visual arts and cultivates a community that appreciates art. The New Art Center educates over 2,500 students annually in classes and workshops, sustains a faculty of 40 professional artists, and operates one of the few mid-sized non-profit exhibition spaces in New England with over 4,500 visitors each year.
