Let Sophia (mom to Anna in 5th grade, John in 2nd, and Gabriel & Michael in 1st) prepare a meal for up to 8 and deliver it your door with re-heating instructions. She gravitates towards fresh, local food prepared in creative ways that is appealing to all our senses.

Sophia has been cooking for as long as she can remember. Coming from a big Greek and Italian family, she is blessed to be surrounded by many amazing chefs to learn from. Her family went on to open a local deli where her knowledge, experience and creativity soared. Sophia has been serving delicious meals made with fresh ingredients (often local or home-grown) and lots of love to family, friends, clients, and strangers for over 20 years. Her two passions in life are creating great food with a sense of traditional but also an unexpected twist, and instilling the confidence/knowledge in people that cooking is not difficult or overwhelming.

Sophia teaches cooking at Newton Community Education (NCE), and this Spring she will be teaching: Essential Knife Skills, A Greek Feast for Entertaining, 6 Easy-Ingredient Meals, and Chopped.
