The 2014 Chardonnay is the 22nd vintage of one of our most popular wines. A long and respectful relationship with our Mendocino grape growers has yielded consistent high quality chardonnay grapes. Because our chardonnay is unoaked, we can preserve the fresh and bright fruit we find in Mendocino County. Aromas of fresh picked apricot and melon along with tropical notes of pineapple mingle with a hint of honey. Bright stone-fruit flavors of peach refresh the palate and blend with pear and rich apple compote notes for a mouthwatering finish.The crisp and juicy stone fruit qualities of the 2014 can be enjoyed by itself to open a meal and move into a main course of lighter meats. I think you’ll be pleased.
