Matt Barnes #32 is a relief pitcher for the World Champion Boston Red Sox. He made is MLB debut in 2014 after being selected in the first round of the 2011 draft. In his four year major league career, the right-hander has a win/loss record of 20/14 with 297 strikeouts.
During the 2018 season, he played in 62 regular season and 10 post season games. He was sidelined for a short time in August and September with a left hip injury.
Although his stats can be deceiving, Barnes was one of the most dependabe options out of the Red Sox bullpen.
