The American Trust for the British Library is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and support the work of one of the world's greatest research libraries. The British Library is the national library of the U.K. and the second largest library collection in the world, with manuscripts and historical items dating back to 2000 BC.

The Library Fellow membership includes:

*Free admission to lectures and receptions in the US;
*Exclusive tours of US libraries;
*Two tickets for each of the major British Library exhibitions (via the BL *Development Office - contact ATBL in advance);
*Invitation to annual Eccles Centre for American Studies Bryant Lecture at the      British Library;
*Acknowledgement in ATBL's newsletter.
