21" long necklace features two toned green recycled glass bead handmade by the Krobo people of Ghana, Africa. Using centuries-old methods they crush glass into clay mold cavities, placing a leaf stem in each. When baked in earthen ovens, the glass fuses and the stem burns away, providing a hole for stringing the beads. Pewter spacers and a toggle clasp embellish the glass beads. Necklace hangs 8" as on strand or can be doubled.
