Anyone who knows Provincetown will recognize this view -- it's one of our favorites!

James Frederick is a painter, cartoonist and illustrator. Expressive and somewhat abstract, James often paints "alla prima" finishing ninety percent of the piece while the canvas remains wet.  With some pieces, he incorporates oil pastel and/or graphite to finish off the composition.

James's work has been in several shows at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. He currently owns Frederick Studio located at Whaler's Wharf in Provincetown.
