Join Center for Coastal Studies staff member Susan Nickerson for a 3+/- hour working tour of her oyster farm in Barnstable Harbor. Take a hands-on excursion to her offshore grant in the Harbor and learn about the life cycle, ecological role, and farming practices of these important bivalves, while getting immersed in the total oyster cultivation experience. Harvest your own oysters and take home a bag of these delectable delights. 

The tour will depart from Barnstable Harbor.  BYO hip waders. Dates and time are flexible with the tide and weather, and can be determined between the two parties as to what will work best.
