Teenage Alice and her good friend Alfred hide out in a London tube station during the Blitz and escape into a sort of wonderland in this musical from the creative team that brought us “Spring Awakening.” The book is by Steven Sater and Jessie Nelson, music by Duncan Sheik, lyrics by Mr. Sater and Ms. Nelson directs. The show will be the second to open at MCC Theater’s new midtown home, a two-theater complex in Hell’s Kitchen.
