President Carter wrote and published this book (his first book) in 1975. After the election in 1976, Broadman Press in Nashville, Tennessee published a special edition of the book with the Presidential Seal and President Carter’s signature embossed on the front cover. The first 5,000 copies of this edition were numbered.
