Waimea Valley is deeply rooted in Hawaiian history and continues to be a respite for Hawaiian spirituality and traditions. As stewards and employees of Hi'ipaka LLC, we will strive in our daily responsibilities to Waimea and its host culture, to celebrate and share a vibrant and living Hawaiian culture with the world. We welcome you to the living pu'uhonua (place of refuge) of Waimea Valley. Let us honor and perpetuate Hawaii’s past, steward our present and plan for a prosperous and healthy future.
The walk up the main pathway is a paved path through our world class botanical gardens and historical sites up to the waterfall area. The walk is ¾ of a mile (1207 meters) one way or 1 ½ miles (2414 meters) round trip. Although most of the path is stroller and wheelchair friendly the side trails through some of the gardens contain stairs and steeper hills. There are shuttle rides available from Hale Ho'ike to the Wailele waterfall turn around area available for purchase at the ticket booth.

Gift Certificate for a Free Annual Family Pass to Waimea Valley. The annual passes include entrance for TWO Adults and SIX children (ages 4-18) for a 12 month period. They also include 10% off at Kuʻono Waiwai, our Valleyʻs Gift Store and at Na Mea ʻOne, our Valleyʻs Snack Shop. Your I.D. is required and the Pass is non-transferable. The winning bidder will need to submit the Family Pass Form, which will take a few weeks to process the Annual Pass Card.
Family Pass Form has no expiration date, but once the Family Annual Pass Card is received then it is valid for 12 months.
