Prkutyun NGO promotes the solution to the problems of people with disabilities, particularly those with intellectual disabilities.

2 main directions:

Living in a family, the child with special needs does not impede the family's everyday activities. Provision of day care services and activities highly assist in development of self-sufficiency, communication and professional skills.

These goals contribute to the protection of the beneficiary with mental problems from taking antisocial actions, and give the opportunity to the parents to go to work, removing from the poverty subsidy. The center stresses the importance of the beneficiary to be brought up in the family, which also contributes to the de- institutionalization of orphanages and special boarding facilities.
