Rubicon is a blend created to reflect the wine grown on the Inglenook property.  It is produced from the best sections of our best vineyards, first planted by Gustave Niebaum, the vineyards' original owner, over a century ago.  Rubicon's opaque ruby-black coloring signals the power of this surprising 2011. The nose is dense with dusty black currant and mocha, joined in the mouth by violets, earthiness, and minerality. Ages beautifully for up to 35 years.
