This dance intensive with Miss Curry is designed for those dancers looking to maintain, extend, and improve their technique over the summer months. A daily emphasis will be on ballet and contemporary technique, stretch/conditioning, proper stage and dance etiquette, as well as preparation of repertory for the end of the intensive performance. Beginning dancers will enjoy arts and crafts, pantomime, and lessons in musicality. Beginning-Intermediate to Advanced dancers will study stage makeup, famous ballet solos, and variations. Prior knowledge of Vagonova Ballet technique is a plus; there is no pre-audition for this intensive—however, students will be divided into ability groups the first day of the program.
