Description

Yul Brynner was not only an Academy Award and Tony winning actor, but also an acclaimed photographer. He starred in "The King and I", "The Ten Commandments", and "The Magnificent 7". In between scenes, at home and with friends he always had at least one camera around his neck.


This spectacular image of Audrey Hepburn was taken during a weekend spent in Venice with her husband, the actor Mel Ferrer, and her best friend, Yul's wife Doris.


The image was published in the now out of print "Yul Brynner: A Photographic Journey" published by Karl Lagerfeld's 7 L and has been part of exhibits in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.


The image is a collector's piece edition number 6 of 8. An Archival Pigment print which is stamped and numbered and comes in a custom made frame by Pierre Long.
