Description
Join 2nd grade mom Shari Abercrombie for 3 hours of fun and eye-opening moments learning how to take better pictures! Bring whatever you take pics with and be ready to look at things from a new perspective. We will experiment with:
- Using your available light
- Making the most of a composition
- Discovering the best shooting distance for the story you are trying to tell
- Finding the best angle to capture a mood
- Directing your subject for the style of portrait you want to capture
The location, date and time for this 3 hour class will be decided on based on the winners' schedules and preferences.

This auction listing is for one participant to join the photography class session with Miss Shari, her assistant/daughter, and four other auction winners. Shari Abercrombie fell in love with taking pictures the first time she picked up a real camera as the yearbook staff photographer early in high school. Since then, she has shot fashion and portraiture for a variety of magazines as well as for some corporate and advertising clients. She holds a BA in Photography from Art Center College of Design.
