Description
Famed bon vivant and mezcal connoisseur Jean-Jacques Johnnson ventured to Oaxaca for this bottle - all in the name of the kids - and this is your chance to taste this rare and delectable spirit.
This rare bottle of mezcal was obtained from the famed Mezcaloteca bar in Oaxaca. Mezcaloteca is a wonderful project that strives to preserve and educate its customers on mezcal.
The agave varietal is Papalote — also known as Cupreata — and takes twelve to fifteen years to mature. It's aged in glass immediately after distillation, making it a more well rounded and balanced mezcal. You'll notice herbal flavors along with a hint of spiciness.
Whether you’re new to the world of mezcal or have a discerning palate when it comes to agave-based spirits, this bottle will surely not disappoint. It was in limited supply and not available in the United States. ¡Salud!
