Neutra VDL House Private Tour
Item Number: 553
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Tour architect Richard Neutra's famous residence right here in Silver Lake. Originally built in 1933, the radical "glass house" with rooftop and balcony gardens remains one of the most important sites for mid-century modern architecture, just opposite the Meadow on Silver Lake Boulevard.
Join Curbed's urbanism editor Alissa Walker, as well as the home's caretaker, Cal Poly Pomona professor Sarah Lorenzen for a private tour of the home, followed by wine on the upper deck and spectacular sunset views of the Silver Lake Reservoir. Tour is for four people and must take place on a mutually agreeable Saturday after 3pm.
