Amanda Marsalis- Amanda Marsalis is a storyteller, a filmmaker, and a photographer whose work explores and documents human connections. Starting as a teenager photographing the punk concerts she hosted in her parent’s basement, Amanda continues to forge an intimacy with her subjects to create meaningful and beautiful works. In her celebrated twenty-year career she’s photographed everyone from Cate Blanchett to Al Gore, John Legend, Kathryn Bigelow, 50 Cent, Gigi Hadid, Jason Schwartzman, and Angelina Jolie, to name a few. Amanda has always worked to give her subjects the freedom and space to open up and share their essence on camera.
