If all you need is a room with a beautiful view, this is the property for your stay in Blowing Rock. This is an adorable pet friendly studio with a queen size Murphy bed, 4 burner stove and oven, medium sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, cookware, kerug, plenty of plates, glasses etc for a longer stay or cooking in. The unit can sleep 2 in queen bed and one small child on couch. ilIt is a quaint unit with just enough room for sleeping and a nice sized bathroom with a tub/shower.

This property used to be a motel and years ago each unit was converted into independent studio /condos. The complex was built on the side of the mountain with approximately 12 units up top and 12 units on the lower level. This unit is located on the lower level with a covered balcony and the view is beyond spectacular. On a clear night you can see the lights of Charlotte over the horizon. The balcony is almost as big as the unit and the view is truly breathtaking, there is plenty of sitting room on the balcony and a great spot to take a siesta, read a book, or just relax and enjoy the view. The complex is on 321/Blowing Rock Blvd and is a short drive (under a mile) to downtown Blowing Rock which has great shopping and restaurants. Such a convenient location to skiing, down town Blowing Rock and Boone, Tweetsie Rails, rafting/tubing, gem mining, shopping and other adventures are less then a 15 min drive.

Less then a 2 hour drive from Charlotte and surrounding areas makes this a great weekend getaway. Downtown Blowing Rock has some great parks for walking or biking, tennis courts, playground for the kiddos, museums, and so much to offer.
