Item Number: 181
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Enjoy a two-hour customized walking tour for you and your group by Chicago Architecture Foundation volunteer docent, and Stone 6th grade parent (father of Caleb), Jeff Marcella.
This is a private tour for you and your group, so your tour of Downtown Chicago can be customized to your interests and can include elements of CAF's "Historic Downtown: Skyscrapers", "Modern Skyscapers", Historic Downtown: Treasures of Culture and Commerce" and Downtown Deco" tours. Or your docent can just wow you with the best of downtown.
Other options outside of downtown are "pub tours" which features stops at neighborhood establishments to talk architecture and cultural history on top of walking around viewing the neighborhood's architecture:
- Pub Tour Andersonvile
- Pub Tour River North
All tours are great for reunions, visitors in town, a group of families, or work/business outings.
The CAF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing public interest and education in architecture and design.
Special Instructions
Tour to be scheduled at a weekend or evening time convenient to tour group and docent.
