Behind the Scenes Tour of the Art Institute of Chicago and Ryerson Library
Join Stone Parents and historians Jim Iska and Stephanie Fletcher at the Art Institute of Chicago. Embrace their years of experience and their love of
sharing his knowledge & enthusiasm about art. Surprises and requests will make this informal tour family-friendly and unforgettable. Tour will include Photography Collections, Art Conservation areas, Art Vaults, and more!
Additionally, tour will include a short trip through Ryerson Library which houses the art and architecture research collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. The library covers all periods with extensive holdings in the areas of 18th-, 19th- and 20th-century architecture and 19th-century painting, prints, drawings, and decorative arts.
Special Instructions
Must be a Stone student and family.
Four people maximum. One adult per child is ideal for younger children.
Children must be 8-years old or older
