Laura grew up in Columbia, SC and moved to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston. Upon graduating in 2006, Laura knew Charleston was the place to be. Now living so close to the water and beaches with her husband Timothy, Laura is able to draw inspiration from so many different aspects of the surrounding area, allowing her to create visual energy that feels good to the eye. Interested in painting from an early age, Laura is now channeling her experiences through abstract art.

Always working towards fresh ideas for new pieces, Laura mixes it up with different media on wood, canvas, and handmade paper. Constantly growing and developing, she continues to find gratification in painting and sharing her love of art with others.
