Sherwin Family Vineyards is extremely honored to be the only company in the United States with Federal approval to place the image of the American Flag on an alcohol label.

Sherwin Family Vineyards became one of 100 vintners from two renowned wine-growing regions, Napa Valley and Italy, to donate magnums of wine to the commemorative event in Lake Garda, Italy.

The Sherwins decided to make their magnum truly special with a striking hand-etched, hand-painted design featuring the American flag and the meaningful words “In God We Trust” and “United We Stand.” The back of the bottle also stated that it was proudly created “in remembrance of those lost September 11, 2001.”

In remembrance of 9/11, we continue to produce a limited number of these beautiful etched and hand-painted bottles each year. These bottles contain only the best Estate Cabernet Sherwin Family Vineyards produces. We donate them to various charitable causes and can also offer them to customers at the winery. Every bottle is individually numbered and makes a striking, patriotic keepsake.
