Description

Ms. Maeder's Second Grade class, the "Superheroes" made a food-safe serving platter with a personalized pussywillow design. On one side of a stem each student made several fingerprints to mark each pussywillow bud. Students painted on the underglaze using their fingers! The back of the platter commemorates each student in the class with their original signature. Stoneware design features colors of pale green, forest green, chocolate brown, and white. Use this fun serving dish as a conversation starter on special occasions or for everyday purposes! Oval platter measures 16"x11". This is a mid-fire stoneware (cone 6), so it is much more durable and food safe than most hand painted ceramics which are low-fire.
