ACT Campground opened in March, 2015 as a green-integrated RV, tent and cabin-style camp park that models how commercial and residential properties can be environmentally friendly. The campground uses recycled and/or renewable materials whenever possible including straw bale, SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) and ICF (Insulated Concrete forms) construction. In the future, solar and other environmentally efficient energy systems with be used to provide heating, cooling and lighting. It will model waste recycling and water conservation methods.

A.C.T. Campground is located at the south edge of Moab at 1536 S. Mill Creek Drive, just 2.5 miles from the city center. Kim Sherwood and Cherie Major created A.C.T.
