Festival Glow, 11x14" framed oil on board, plein air.

 
"Festival Glow" was painted in the city ballpark while the 2018 Moab Folk Festival was taking place.  Margie and her husband Bob routinely enjoy their evenings looking out their window at this same view and the constantly changing shadow and light is truly one of their daily pleasures.  When you add MUSIC to that changing light parade, her painting gets pretty emotional.  Look at this painting as if you are following the music.  It makes the most sense that way.
