Hunt Or Gather Buying Club - $50 membership fee and $50 food credit

What is a Buying Club?   A Buying Club allows members to pre-order food in bulk quantity and pay wholesale prices for the food. Individuals and families have the opportunity to purchase local, healthy food for a lot less than it would cost in a retail market.

 What kind of food is available?  Vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, honey, jams, and more. The selection varies with the season, so you will be eating and shopping seasonally. We are happy to show you an example of what we have available at different times of year.

 How much does it cost to join the club?   The annual membership fee is $50, and you will pay wholesale prices, plus 10% to offset Buying Club administrative costs. Most supermarkets mark up their products as much as 60- 100%, so being able to purchase at wholesale prices will add up to substantial savings.

 How does it work?Each week, H/G sends members a list of available food items with the quantity, price, and farm. When members want to purchase items, they email their order to H/G before the deadline.Members pick up and pay for their order a few days later when it is delivered on the established delivery date. Members order only what they want, when they want.
