A friend of the shelter has donated a Boston Red Sox Mookie Betts 2018 World Series Champions 8'' Player Bobblehead -
In the first pivotal play of the 2018 World Series, Mookie Betts succeeded where only a few players have in 2018: Stealing a base off of Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw. Having reached on a single to shallow center, Betts took off on Kershaw’s first pitch to Andrew Benintendi. The throw from Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes was offline, and Betts slid safely into second base. Because he stole the first base of the World Series, Betts won America a free taco from Taco Bell (available on Nov. 1). Benintendi’s single to right field gave Betts more than enough opportunity to score the game’s first run.
Special Instructions
Items will be available for pick up at the LIVE EVENT, Friday April 26th, at The Ramada Inn, 213 Taunton Avenue in Seekonk, MA 02771. Online Auction Bidding closes at 7:30 p.m. Auction will be closed, and all items can be picked up before 9:30 p.m.
If you are unable to pick up your items at the Live Event you will be able to pick the items up the next day, Saturday April 27th at The Ramada Inn. Enter the main lobby then bear to the left and go to The Diplomat Room – volunteers will be there from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All winners who have not picked up items on 4/26 or 4/27 will be contacted by a Save A Pet volunteer and arrangements will be made for alternate pick up or shipping options.
All shipping costs are paid by the bidder.
