Traditional American Rug Hooking using untraditional materials.
Fabrics: wool, cotton shirting, silk, polyester taffeta, linen backing.
Fabrics are hand cut and strands are pulled through the linen backing with a small wood handled metal hook.
The tight juxtaposition of the loops hold the fabrics in place.
