Chef/Owner Alex Eusebio and his wife Sara Mann Eusebio opened SweetSalt in January or 2010 in Los Angeles's Toluca Lake Neighborhood. Sweetsalt has about 25 tables and 8 seats on the outside patio. In the short time Sweetsalt has been open we have many regular guests, mostly from the neighborhood, but also a lot of studio/film/tv patrons from the neighboring Universal, Warner Bros and Disney Studios. The food at Sweetsalt is Seasonal American with a hint of French and Basque Spanish, revolving around the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each dish either complements or contrasts different flavor profiles and/or textures…. thus the “sweet and salt” in our name.
