Growing up I was exposed to eurocentric ideals of beauty. Chanelling desi elements and vibrant colour palettes, I wanted to create a Surgi doll that I could resonate with. Diversity, featured here, is wearing a Pakistani kameez, Pakistani truck art inspired earrings and proudly flaunts her dark, black hair, teekah and beautiful, assymmetrical features.
