This trio of bowls were handmade by pottery artist Akemi Woofter, who was born and raised in a small town in western Japan. She has written about her life in a book titled Follow My Heart: a Memoir of Cross-Cultural Journey of Love and Family. She currently teaches and creates pottery in the East Bay and has generously donated these stunningly delicate bowls to our auction.
