That's what you get when you bid on these earrings by Funlola Coker, a metalsmith and jeweler originally from Lagos Nigeria, and now based here in Memphis. 

Each piece that she makes is an extension of Funlola herself, evoking a memory of a moment  or a person. Created with care, she draws most of my designs from patterns in West African textiles, North African architecture and Art Deco jewelry.
