Magnetic Minds

By having access to a magnetic surface and manipulatives, students will have the opportunity to independently explore, connect, and develop fine motor control as well as, math and literacy skills. Making learning fun with magnets will engage students to create and problem solve.  This center will stretch student’s imaginations and scientific knowledge together making magnetic minds. 

This magnet center will allow a small group of students to explore and interact with engaging materials as they learn about magnetism. The stand-up magnetic board is so big, kids can stand side by side as they create! The double-sided design board has two giant magnetic write & wipe surfaces, plus a super-sturdy wood base that easily stores tons of magnetic pieces. The magnetic manipulatives are wooden magnets in ten different shapes allowing students to create colorful designs and patterns. The other magnetic path-building pieces are easy for kids to build, test and reconfigure a variety of pathways—sharpening STEM problem-solving skills as they create!
