This is a tabletop light panel with accessories.  It is perfect for scientific demonstrations and detailed observations.  This panel would add a new dimension to color and light experiments as well as enhance literacy, math, and writing skills in fun and playful ways.  All the translucent manipulatives range from letters & numbers to blocks & building pieces.  Children are naturally drawn to the gentle glow of the light table making learning fun.

Let There Be Light! - A light table and translucent accessories would allow students to have a hands-on learning experience in a new light.

In my classroom, I try to incorporate materials that enrich our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. With a light box, students would explore learning by seeing and manipulating materials in a new innovative way.  Along with the development of visual and spatial reasoning, students would have the opportunity for open-ended play and exploration.  All in all, they would be active participants in their own STEAM learning. The light table and tools are fun, hands-on, and motivational.  Our classroom would be very lucky to have a donation to help us fill our learning space with "light."
