Madeleine Schmidt is an award-winning artist who recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tulsa with an emphasis in painting. Her work ranges from painting to collage and ceramics.  Post-graduation, she spent time in Colorado studying with various painting and ceramic artists.  Several of her collage pieces were recently featured in Momentum 2019.  Her ceramic work is currently being featured at Steve Liggett Studio in Tulsa.

Maddie previously worked for the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition and ahha Tulsa, and currently manages Adorn Designs in the historic Tulsa Studio Row.

This 6"x 6" paper on masonite collage, titled Plant Table, was created using hand-painted and cut paper adhered to masonite. It borders between naturalistic and abstract, much like her other work, and was previously part of a larger series of collages.
