Ready for a night of wonderful music? 

Experience an evening of stimulating and engaging music-making in
an intimate setting. Levine’s critically acclaimed Levine Presents
series is a set of diverse and thought-provoking concerts organized
around a central theme. This year’s theme is “Women’s Voices”
Whether persisting, resisting, or just existing, women have played a powerful role in music, as performers, composers, conductors, collaborators or muses. The 2018-2019 season celebrates women in all their musical roles.

1. International Sweethearts of Rhythm
   Saturday, April 6, 2019, 7 PM
   The International Sweethearts of Rhythm was the first integrated, and truly international, all women's band in the United States. Playing swing and jazz on a national circuit in the sass's, the band featured some of the best female musicians of the day performing in top venues coast to coast.
   
   


2. Heard But Not Seen
   Saturday, May 11, 2019, 7 PM
   Composers including Rebecca Clarke, Clara Schumann and Dora Peaceful struggled with discrimination and inequality as they vied for recognition.
