Description
If you've always wanted to learn to climb here is your chance with this Gift Certificate for 2 intro to climbing classes (14 and older) OR 2 days passes from Cliffs of Id valid at any Touchstone Climbing location. Locally that includes their classes in Burbank, Los Angeles, and Culver City, and they have Bay Area locations also.
New to climbing?
If you’ve never climbed before, they recommend taking the Intro to Climbing Class. In this one-hour class, you will learn the basic skills needed to start rope climbing: how to secure your harness, tie a figure 8 follow through knot, and complete your safety checks. You will also learn how to belay using an ATC belay device, catch a fall, and lower your climber back to the ground. After the class, use your newfound skills and climb until you can’t climb anymore!

Valid at any Touchstone location. Climbing class includes instruction, day pass and rental equipment. Day passes don't include rentals. $50-70 each. Expire 2/20.
Items and/or certificates must be picked up at The Waverly School Elementary Campus business office, 67 W Bellevue Drive, Pasadena CA 91105, from May 6 to June 4, 8:30am to 3:30pm. Shipping can be requested by the winner at an additional cost. The Waverly School and/or donors are not responsible for shipping fees.
