20 hours of Family Genealogy Research

Are you curious about your family tree?  Do you have a genealogical mystery?

Discover your family roots and share stories of past generations with your children.  It’s also the perfect Mother’s Day or Father’s Day present!  

You can donate to our school and simultaneously answer some great questions about your family’s history. 

Together we will define your family research goal and develop a customized research plan, conducting twenty hours of research (a $1,500 value) and providing you with an email summary of the completed research, including an online family tree and copies of any documents or images we find.

Jen Tierney grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania and holds a master’s degree in English literature from The Catholic University of America and a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in English with minors in Spanish and Writing from King’s College.  She has had a life-long fascination with storytelling, history, foreign languages, and genealogy and began recording her own family’s genealogy as a teenager.  

With ancestors from Germany, Poland, Ireland, England, Hungary, Scotland, Wales, Canada, and pre-Revolutionary War America, Jen has years of experience conducting research in many different U.S. states, countries, languages, and time periods.  

Jen also enjoys doing genetic genealogy research, including adoptions, and she was able to locate her mother’s birth parents through the ever-changing landscape of DNA testing and has assisted others in their searches.

Jen and her husband Brian have four descendants, one of whom loves being a 2nd grader at Ocean Charter and another who can’t wait for kindergarten to start in August.
