This 2011 Opus One is more restrained than the 2010 and very much like a classic Bordeaux rather than New World. The nose is intense, full of freshly crushed blackberries, lots of layers and complexity on the palate with good balance throughout, very fresh and elegant. The finish is long, firm and precise with lots of black fruits and concentration with a touch of oak.

This is a lovely style of Opus One.  A must for your collection.
