SJOKOLADE, is a confectionery in St. Louis Park, Minnesota that specializes in the
most amazing, silky fudge. Here is the story about how SJOKOLADE started.
 
Jonica, our founder, loves celebrating special occasions. It was around her Norwegian grandmother’s table, the family would gather for Birthdays, Christmas’s; all family events were at Grandma’s house! Grandma was a wonderful cook and handled all the meal preparations, including THE FUDGE!
 
Jonica carried on that fudge making tradition and loved to create Christmas “treat”
packages for friends and clients. Then, it expanded throughout the year ! Any occasion gave her license to create a gift bag with fudge and a hand written note -- a job well done at work, or purchasing a new home. Clients and friends alike always enjoyed the thoughtfulness and the sweet treat of fudge. They all asked for the recipe.. however Jonica graciously declined from sharing the recipe, because she always thought...WHAT IF......

So finally the “WHAT IF” has been answered and the LEAP was taken! SJOKOLADE
was created!!
 
The business name is in honor of Jonica’s Norwegian Grandmother. Sjokolade is the Norwegian word for Chocolate.
 
Now, we want to share the sweet tradition with you! The recipe has been lovingly
tweaked and crafted through the years to bring you this silky smooth fudge with unique and amazing flavor combinations.
