Join Compass Rose for one week of outdoor adventure at China Camp State Park. At Compass Rose Adventure Camps children ages four through eight experience hands-on creative adventures in the magical outdoor setting of Bay Area parks.

With nature and our own imaginations as inspiration, instructors and campers co-create curriculum and activities that tap into children's intrinsic motivation to learn, challenge them to explore all of their abilities and interests, and incorporate multiple learning domains with an inter-disciplinary approach. Compass Rose is a place where children are invited to celebrate the freedom of summer and just be themselves. Campers will connect with each other and the unique place we all call home as they as they problem-solve, communicate, work as a team and most importantly, PLAY!

Owner and instructor, April Gaston, has been teaching preschool for six years, has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and founded Compass Rose three years ago.
