La Lastra Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2017 - Made of 100% Vernaccia grape from the beautiful area of San Gimignano, Tuscany. La Lastra is one of the best small wineries in the area making delicious Tuscan wines. This Organically Farmed Vernaccia is bright, clean with mouth flavors of tropical fruits, citrus and great minerality. Pairs with white fish (Petrale Sole and Halibut!), cheeses and chicken.
Monterufoli Vermentino Toscana 2016- From an up and coming small appellation near Pisa (think Leaning Tower), this 100% Vermentino is one of Tuscany's most important grapes. This is a complex white, medium bodied, that is clean with sliced ripe apple and pear characters. Great with grilled white meats, pork chops and aged cheeses.

Leone de Castris "Maiana" Salice Salentino 2015 - Salice Salentino is the area (appellation) and the most important red wine of the region of Puglia (the heel of the "Boot"), Leone de Castris, founded in 1665 is the oldest winery in Puglia. This Salice, 90% Negroamaro and 10% Malvasia Nera is a aged for 6 months in small barrels. It is a rich, opulent, textured red wine with flavors of Bing cherries and spice. Great with Pizza, red pastas and BBQ.
Fattoria del Cerro Chianti Colli Senesi 2016- Colli Senesi is the most southern areas of the Chianti zone and tends to make riper wines (than Northern Chianti) in this warmer zone. 90% Sangiovese/ 10% Canaiolo .This is a dense and rich Chianti with berry, chocolate and toasted oak character yet it is fresh and delicious. Great with charcuterie, red sauces and grilled red meats.

Pecchenino "Siri di Jermu" Dogliani 2016- If you see the name Dogliani on the label it means it's 100% Dolcetto grape. Grown is the most important town for this grape in Italy (in the region of Piedmont, right next door to Barolo). Orlando Pecchenino is considered the best producer of Dolcetto. His 2016 single vineyard, Siri d'Jermu (which translates to "Bill's Hill") has flavors of licorice, brambleberry pie, citrus, elderberry tart and ash. Structured, intense and pretty on the palate. This wine is calling for steak!
