This vintage color photograph by Michael Sandy reveals, in glowing yellow/orange, a sunrise in the yard of an old industrial site. Gray clouds and the natural stone walls of the old, deserted factory building, with its boarded-up doors, old windows, and  multitude of smoke stacks and iron works bring to mind an era long past. Anyone who grew up near the factories of a former age would be charmed by the familiar architecture like this. It may be long gone, but it is certainly not forgotten.
