A 12"x12" inch white background is “washed” with melted clear and crushed colored glass to form a green crab with millefiore eyes and large green pincers.  Chunks of clear- and sand-colored glass are encased in the melted glass to look and feel like pebbles and sand under water.  This gives a three-dimensional, true-to-life effect of a green crab crawling through water at the edge of a beach.   Though it comes ready to hang, everyone will want to touch this piece of art before it goes on the wall.
