This one-of-a-kind item was crafted specially for The Seeing Eye's 90th anniversary. The plush dog resembles Buddy, the first Seeing Eye dog and loyal guide to Morris Frank, co-founder of The Seeing Eye. It comes complete with a replica handmade toy leather harness handcrafted by artist Hava Hegenbarth to resemble the harness type used in 1929. The dog's chain link collar bears a Seeing Eye 90th anniversary tag and comes with a replica leather leash attached. Our handsome Buddy is stretched out ready to rest beside you for years to come.

About the Artist
Hava Hegenbarth’s name may be familiar, as her work graces some of The Seeing Eye’s lovely drawn note cards. Hava began drawing animals while stationed abroad with the U.S. Foreign Service. Her first assignment was in Australia, and later she was stationed in Rwanda and Tanzania. Since retiring from the Foreign Service, Hava devotes her time to her art and raising guide dogs. In addition to drawing and painting, she is also skilled in leatherwork and has donated many lovely pieces to The Seeing Eye.
