What an adorable vintage dachshund figurine! This ceramic dog is marked with a Goebel, W Germany stamp on the bottom. The sitting dog measures 12” from nose to tail and is 8 ½” tall to the top of his head. The dark brown coloring on his back lightens up to cream on his belly and he has dark black tips on his nose, ears and legs. His front feet look like he stepped in white paint against his black legs. Although his nose is pointed downward, he lovingly looks up with his soulful eyes at the beholder. This figurine has a high-gloss finish.  A nice addition for any dachshund lover or Goebel collector.
