This 74 x 89 inch "Sunrise by the Lake" design quilt in turquoise, corals, sand, and brown tones will have you dreaming of summer vacation.  Machine quilted by a Seeing Eye puppy raiser from a design by Bonnie Hunter, internationally known quilt teacher,  it is placed on the bias, and pieced with squares, half square triangles and parallelograms to form large plus signs, separated by pieced sashing strips.  The backing is a mottled turquoise batik fabric which is repeated in the binding.  The quilting stitches are a meandering wave pattern with light coral and turquoise thread.  Curl up in this lovely quilt when you want to keep the chill off while watching the mist rise up from the lake.
