A stunning polished oval of turquoise set in a rope of antique silver is surrounded by slightly smaller turquoise stone , each separated by a silver bead make up the design of this pin.  The total size is about 1½x 1¼ inches.  This brooch would look stunning alone, holding a scarf on a neckline, or even on a hat.  It has a definite Native American feel to it.  Perhaps the ancient people were on to something when they claimed that turquoise was a protective stone.
